2020年初开始，一场席卷全球的疫情打乱了大家过年的计划以及年后的复工。随着疫情在全球的蔓延，我们很快在微信公众号上开始频繁分享加拿大各省疫情进展，让大家及时了解动态信息，也被各个留学代理老师们每天积极转发。
From the beginning of 2020, the COVID-19 epidemic that has swept China disrupted everyone's plans for the New Year and the resumption of work after the holiday. With the spread of the pandemic around the world, we began to share the progress of the epidemic in various provinces in Canada on the WeChat official account, so that everyone can keep updated of the dynamic information, and it is actively forwarded by various agent consultants every day.

 

线上工作活动不停
Everything Goes Online

突然的疫情也没有让我们停下脚步，2月中旬我们即线上复工，每月多伦多ICEAP天团主讲人们都安排在线讲座，与同样在家办公的顾问老师们一起温故知新，与各个留学代理合作开讲，为在家学习网课的学生们答疑解惑，及时了解加拿大移民局针对疫情推出的各种政策。同时，还与各个合作院校一起推出疫情期间的录取最新变化，以及疫情下的新政策等信息。
The pandemic did not stop us. We resumed work online in mid-February. Every month, ICEAP Toronto delegation arranged online lectures to review the programs with agent consultants who also work from home, and cooperate with agents to answer questions for students studying online at home, as well as keeping abreast of the various policies of Immigration Canada in response to the pandemic. At the same time, ICEAP Toronto and exclusive partners shared updated information on admissions and new changes under the pandemic.

根据疫情期间对留学需求及国际学校市场变化的深入分析和研究，以及近几年与中国优质高中如北京一零一中学，深圳中学等合作加拿大顶级医博类大学西大King's的绿色通道项目——优选计划KSP的经验，我们还及时与国内各种国际高中和普高学校沟通，针对这些学校的学生出国的刚需，介绍加拿大及西大King's等院校的优势和特色，帮助受到疫情影响重新考虑留学目的地国家以及考虑在国外长期发展的学生及家长提供加拿大院校推荐及申请指导。北京一零一中学，深圳中学也作为协办方，和我们及西大King's & 西大毅伟商学院一起成功组织了多场专题讲座，吸引了众多学生，家长，顾问老师们积极参与并提问，为制定自己的2021年及以后留学的规划找到重要的参考信息。
According to the in-depth analysis and research on the demand for studying abroad, the changes in the international school market during the pandemic, and the cooperation with famous Chinese high schools such as setting KSP tests in Beijing 101 Middle School and Shenzhen Middle School in recent years, we communicated with various international curriculum high school counselors and students in a timely manner, aiming at the rigid needs of students from those schools to go abroad, introducing the advantages and characteristics of Canada and King's@Western U, and helping students and parents who are reconsidering destination countries and long-term development abroad to figure out proper Canadian colleges and universities, as well as the application procedure guidance.
Beijing 101 Middle School and Shenzhen Middle School also acted as co-organizers, together with us and King's@Western U & Ivey School@Western U, successfully organized a few seminars which were attracting many students, parents, school counselors and teachers to actively participate and ask questions.

线下的语言和桥梁课以及分级考试也在全校老师和工作人员的努力下迅速转成了线上模式，实现在读学生“零等待”衔接网课，国内的学生也顺利在网上参加分级考试，开始了自己的网课生涯。网课教学质量仍然保持较高的水平，试听课也让有兴趣的同学初步了解网课的形式，在读学生的积极反馈也是给予我们努力的最好回馈。
On-campus EAP, bridging programs and assessment tests have also been converted to online mode with the efforts of our teachers and staff of the school, current students have been changed to online classes without waiting, and students in China have also successfully participated in the assessment tests , so that they started online courses from April 2020. The quality of online courses are still maintained at a high level. The trial class also allows interested students to get a preliminary understanding of the form of it. The positive feedback from the students is the best feedback for our efforts.

New Programs Showcase

与西大King's联合线上课程
KAB & FYWC Program

面对签证中心陆续关闭，各类语言考试纷纷取消，加拿大及各国边境也因疫情而关闭等情况下，我们和西大King's迅速做出反应，联合开设了线上课程，并创新开发了2个月的高阶桥梁课King's Accelerated Bridge (KAB)项目，从加拿大当地就读的留学生到人在中国的优秀学生，通过线上分级考试进入KAB项目，进而未受疫情影响对接2020年9月学期进入了西大King's大一专业课。2021年，KAB项目会继续开设，为大家争取9月对接加拿大顶级名校——西大King's大一准时入学提供高效捷径。

Faced with the closure of visa centers in China, the cancellation of TOEFL/ IELTS/ SAT/ GMAT etc. exams, and the closure of borders in Canada and other countries due to global pandemic, King's@Western and us responded quickly and jointly opened online programs. The 2-month length King's Accelerated Bridge (KAB) program made students studying in Canada and outstanding students in China could catched up fall 2020 intake of King's@Western U without affected by the pandemic. In 2021, KAB program will continue to be opened to provide an efficient shortcut for students who want to register as the freshman in King's@Western U, one of the top Canadian Universities in fall 2021.

Kingsway Academy

虽然疫情让很多企业和学校面临生存的危机，但ICEAP教育集团凭借前瞻性和所有人的努力，在疫情渐缓阶段不但对ICEAP@King's校区进行了整体内部装修，还按照原计划重磅推出了全新的国王路中学大学预科学院项目——Kingsway Academy。她以加拿大顶级名校内的高中为特色，开设安省高中12年级课程，并培养学生语言，学习和大学适应能力，以及其他应具备的加拿大高中生技能，应对进入大学后的各种挑战。
Although the pandemic has caused many companies to face a crisis of survival, ICEAP Inc. with its forward-looking and everyone’s efforts, not only carried out the interior decoration of the ICEAP@King's campus in May, but also launched a new brand- Kingsway Academy as planned. She features high schools in Canada's top university, offers OSSD grade 12 high school courses, and cultivates students' language & academic study, university adaptation, and other skills that Canadian high school students should have to deal with various challenges in universitites and colleges.

2021年，多伦多ICEAP项目还会继续增加，为学生提供加拿大高质量的好专业和好学校，也为顾问老师们提供放心推广的好项目。

疫情对整个留学及国际教育行业的冲击力度有目共睹，艰难时刻，ICEAPer们上下一心，顶住巨大的压力，做好本职工作的同时拓展新的工作方式和特殊时期的业务关系维护，无论是线上活动和内部学习提升，还是下半年谨慎恢复线下业务，参与大型展会，面对面咨询，举办小型讲座等，都充满自信，继续领先行业专业团队口碑。业务量快速恢复并赶超去年同期的漂亮成绩，或让多伦多ICEAP成为最早摆脱疫情影响的加拿大学术英语中心之一。
The impact of the pandemic on the entire study abroad and international education industry is obvious to all. ICEAPers worked together to withstand the huge pressure, while doing their own work, expanding new working methods and maintaining business relationships in special periods, whether online activities and internal trainings, or cautiously resuming offline business in fall, participating in exhibitions, face-to-face consultations, and holding small lectures, are all confident and continue to lead the industry's professional team reputation.
